about
This track was written against a background of national mourning as we attempt to grapple with the unfathomable prospect of an elderly and unfathomably rich lady being replaced by a slightly less elderly and unfathomably rich man as our nominal head of state. How can we possibly cope? Only time will tell.
lyrics
The greatest tragedy that any nation can befall
Is heaped upon our sceptered isle to cast a ghastly pall
Our head of state has passed away, at only 96
No words of mine can reckon how our monarch will be missed
The demon bound into her flesh when she was but a girl
Is now free from human bonds to terrorise the world
That monster chained inside her and fed on virgin blood
Brings darkness to humanity not seen since Noah’s flood
So raise a glass to Lizzie who kept that devil bound
And pray that when the whirlwind comes you’ll be the last one found
A thousand years of horror, an age of death and blight
All hope is lost, the world is doomed, condemned to endless night
She didn’t want to drink pig blood but bravely choked it down
She didn’t like the orgies or the cum stains on her crown
She hosted torture parties for the Tories and the toffs
Fellated goats politely, their demon seed she quaffed
She put her feelings to one side and ate the infant hearts
Sacrificed upon black altars she consumed their tender parts
The demon needed feeding, it craved some virgin blood
So she hunted humans on the moors and in the woods
So raise a glass to Lizzie who kept that devil bound
And pray that when the whirlwind comes you’ll be the last one found
A thousand years of horror, an age of death and blight
All hope is lost, the world is doomed, condemned to endless night
For almost a clear century she kept that demon down
Through various occult killings across Old London town
She made the supreme sacrifice to keep our nation whole
Now darkling stars will rise anew and terror shall take hold
Salute our fallen champion, torn open by its birth
It sloughed her flesh like snake skin as entered on the earth
She burst like a pinata filled with butcher’s scraps
What terrible god is loosed now its meat suit has collapsed?
So raise a glass to Lizzie who kept that devil bound
And pray that when the whirlwind comes you’ll be the last one found
A thousand years of horror, an age of death and blight
All hope is lost, the world is doomed, condemned to endless night
